Expression ‘bien hecho’ en ingles?

I was talking to my dad about expressions he used a lot in his childhood (in Venezuela, for context), and the topic of ‘bien hecho’ came up. There’s the traditional meaning of ‘well done’, of course, but the expression my dad is referring to is in the specific context of having advised someone against an action, them doing it anyway and then having it backfire on them— after which you tell them ‘Bien hecho!!’ in an ‘I told you so’ kind of way.

The most direct translation I could give was exactly that— “I told you so!”— but my dad was saying it lacks the severity and exact sentiment of ‘I’m glad that it backfired on you’. Does anyone know of any English expressions which might better fit the translation of ‘bien hecho’ in this context?
