Pregnancy photos

I am debating whether or not to get professional pictures taken for a pregnancy reveal (8 weeks) and imagine that I would also like some photos when I am further along. Did any do both or have strong preferences for one or the other?

Also, any conference tips would help! I’m not one who loves being in front of the camera.
