To buy or not to buy

Hi, im thinking about buying a PS Portal, and i wanted to ask if someone could give me some quick pros and cons about it.

And to put a real question here: I change my sleeping place almost every day and it annoys me every day to take down my Playstation for an hour or two, can the PS Portal be a solution to this problem?
