When did Pinterest become into just ads?

I haven’t used Pinterest in a while but planning a trip and jumped to use it. However all I see now is ads to sell Me clothes!!

I used to be able to search for “ summer outfits” etc and I’d get people’s boards. Now I just get ads for to sell items. wtf?? Am I doing something wrong ?
