Saw so many negative post (understandable and relatable), but I'm curious: what is something good about your studies? What are you happy about?

First year PhD, so I may be biased since it's still pretty chill (also, not in STEM so that may be a factor) and I hope I won't annoy someone with my post.

I'm still feeling a bit stressed about a coming conference (international, I'm kinda the only "small fly" there since most people are either post PhD, teachers or people with way more experience than me), but I realised that only getting in is an achievement (for me). Still planning on doing my best thou.

Also, got my grades from the first semester and everything is perfect.

So those things made me happy. What are yours?
