Sharing wins!

Submitted my first ever first author manuscript for publication and got back extremely positive reviews. One reviewer had NO changes, just a positive comment, and the dreaded "Reviewer #2" only had a couple extremely minor comments that took less than 30 minutes to address. The editor of the journal even reached out to congratulate me on receiving such uniformly positive feedback because it is so rare! This paper was the first study I ever conceptualized, analyzed and wrote myself, so to see it go to publication with such great feedback is a huge confidence booster :)

In addition to that, my first ever conference abstract submission (different study than the one above) got accepted with NO changes! Which means I have the funding to fly to New Zealand and present!! I'm super excited!!

Needless to say, it's been an exciting week - just wanted to share with people who understand what a big deal this is :) What have your PhD wins been this week? Let's celebrate together!
