Is Facebook lying about our conversions?

I have a problem that I hope you can help me with.

I have campaigns on Facebook ADS that are running and generating sales for several months (around 15,000€ per month). The pixel is well installed and Facebook gives me all the KPIs I need (number of purchases, conversion value, visitors,...).

EXCEPT, the data that Facebook gives me is not found on my statistical analysis tools like Google Analytics or Matomo. Both will track visitors from Facebook, but hardly any conversions are recorded (Matomo only records one!).

My question is: can I really be sure that Facebook is not lying to me by giving conversions to my ads?

If not, how is it possible that this data is not tracked by Matomo or Google Analytics? Do you know of any other analytics tool that works in symbiosis with Facebook?
