Any good mod/submod lists?

I'm tempted to hop back on old world blues and notice there has been quite a few sub-mods released...I tried to get as expansive of a map and ecoerincw and possible...but obviously have run into some problems (not loading properly and stuff)

I'm definitely wanting to take over all the world from sea to shining sea again...and maybe more with some more nations and stuff. Anyone want to share their best mod lists and experiences?
