Thanks UPS - 5080 SUPRIM

Was excited about my RTX 5080 SUPRIM + PSU Combo being delivered yesterday. Package is delivered (no signature required) and notice the tape doesn’t seem right and box feels lighter than it should for a power supply and a massive GPU.

Driver was already down the street and I was unable to refuse delivery so decided to record a video of me opening the package timestamped within 2 minutes of package being dropped off. Box only contained the PSU of course.

All this to say, be careful with the Newegg Combos being shipped UPS. I would advise documenting yourself opening high value packages like this when there are any signs of tampering and you don’t have an opportunity to refuse the delivery due to UPS delivering without ringing the doorbell or knocking to hand over the package and there being no signature requirement. We will see how the UPS investigation pans out now I guess and go back to the drawing board. Thought I was able to dodge the tariff price increase but a thief felt otherwise.
