Husbands help
First, I don't want to sound like a pretentious b for posting this but… my husband was getting compliments in the antepartum room for simply existing? It kind of annoyed me like ya, this is his kid. He was changing diapers, getting up with her, getting me water, basic stuff etc. So many of the nurses were “impressed” and I was truly baffled.
Are men really not expected to help? Is that the norm? I couldn't not do this without my husband. Props to all the single moms out there bc this shit is not for the weak.
