Where to donate clothes?

I am one of those people cleaning out their closets of everything i haven’t worn in a few years. I don’t want to donate to good will or other thrift stores just because of all the data saying my clothes is more likely to end up in a landfill.

Anywhere you all have donated clothes to and felt it was going go to use? I have sweaters and a lot of dresses.
