if the brothers went to the police, instead of doing what they did on that night. do you think it would’ve resulted in anything?

do we really think they would’ve been believed? it baffles me how there’s still so many people questioning the brothers for not letting authorities know of their abuse prior to the murders. as if their father and mother would’ve been rounded up so easily, when most of us csa survivors know that’s not always the case. these boys were let down by everybody around them! they were just children! even now, there’s still people who don’t believe their abuse. are we really expecting them to have been believed/ taken seriously if they went to authorities on that night of august 20th, 1989?
