CIA Exam Part 3 done.
I am sharing my experience to pay forward all the good advice I received from many of you. I passed Part 3 yesterday-what a relief.
I used Gleim for all three parts. I agree with the overwhelming sentiment on the need to read GTAGs. These are the ones I read (not exact titles):
- IT Risk and Controls (2nd Edition)
- IT Essentials (Practice Guide)
- I must admit that I did not retain much information in those documents. I concentrated on risks and controls related to those topics, along with definitions and concepts related to IT infrastructure and information security.
- Auditing Mobile Devices
I must admit that I did not retain much of the information in those documents. I concentrated on risks and controls related to those topics, along with definitions and concepts related to IT infrastructure and information security.
Study guides were sufficient for all remaining sections of the exam. In my case, I used the syllabus as the guide to what is relevant and what may not be so relevant.
