State farm car insurance

Can I add my wife to my car insurance as a passenger if she doesn't have a driving licence? We live in alaska if that information helps!

I want to update my policy to reflect my married status, as it could help lower the premium. Does insurers allow adding a spouse as a non-driver for the sake of updating marital status?
