Am i too OLD For a 8th grade student? 😭

I’m 15, turning 16 in two months. I started school a year late, and on top of that, I wasn’t promoted from 2nd to 3rd grade because my attendance was barely 5-10%. It never really bothered me until now. Puberty hit hard, and I have fully grown facial hair while most of my classmates are just 13. I feel out of place, like I don’t belong.

Academically, I always rank first in every exam, but no one seems to care not even my parents. Instead of being proud, they just brush it off saying, “Of course, you score higher coz you’re older than everyone else” It feels like no matter what I achieve, it’ll never be enough for them.
