Need Advice: How to Gain a Stray Kitten’s Trust & What to Feed It?

A stray kitten has been wandering around our terrace recently. I’ve been trying to feed it, and so far, I’ve left milk out for it in the container a few times. However, it’s still very scared of me. It only drinks the milk once I leave or when I am not visible

I really want to help it and maybe even befriend it, but I don’t want to scare it away. Any tips on how to gain its trust? What’s the best way to approach a stray kitten?

Also, What else can I feed it that can be made at home? I’d love some suggestions!
