Can we agree that Honey Singh is overrated?

I am quite sick of folks still dickriding Honey Singh more than a decade later. Personally I would have been fine with it if they didn't do that while demeaning newer artists.

Like wtf is "ye sab kuch nhi, Bluetooth king honey Singh is the best"? Even at his peak, the guy had average lyrical flow and absurd writing. It was just the rhythm and beats (and the MVs) that propelled him to stardom. And we are now realising that wo bhi collabs ki wajah se tha, because now he is failing miserably at producing a half-decent song.

Indian music fans kabhi nostalgia ke upar nhi badh payenge.

Edit: Kinda predictable responses. Some of you atleast honestly admitted that it's a nostalgia thing, while others have been bending over backwards trying to prove that YYHS was actually talented. He wasn't. He found the right guys, arrived at the right time, and got lucky. Himesh was even bigger than YYHS, and that guy was even worse. So let's not pretend that popularity is some kind of valid argument. On the contrary, having popularity disproportionate to your talents is the definition of "overrated". And also, I am a millennial. So there goes the "you don't understand, you weren't born then" argument.
