Verification Appt Tuesday !

So , I finally set up my verification for Tuesday . I did not receive my mail , I lied . Yes , I lied I don’t care & it worked all I need to bring is 2 forms of id & my recent tax return ! It’s okay to lie especially when your money is on the line .

The Way I Did it :

Yesterday : I called MY LOCAL IRS , and asked them “ Hi do I need to verify because the notice glitched off my phone “ , they asked me some personal questions very simple & then after being on hold for 5-7 mins she told me that I do in fact still need to verify . She then said “ Your letter has been sent out feb 3rd give it until next week Monday “ she was very nice , okay phone hung up ! ( you can also ask them when has it been sent out ! Call early for the nice agents if that makes more sense )

TODAY : I called again with the same context , yada yada ! But I switched it up “ Hi Yes I’m calling to verify because I have the notice ! “ she assisted me pretty quickly asking the same thing as the last phone call :) LET THEM KNOW YOU HAVE THE LETTER ! Do not deny that you don’t YOU DO idc if this is a lie YOU BETTER LIE . I then got asked what days can I come in to verify .
