Eagle 4K vs. Strong 8K – My Thoughts
I've been using both Eagle 4K and Strong 8K for a while now, so I wanted to share my experience with each.
What I Like About Eagle 4K:
Local channels are neatly labeled in a row (ABC, CBS, FOX) by city—super convenient.
Relatively cheap compared to Strong 8K (in the Z2U market).
Great international coverage with a lot of country-specific TV stations.
Most 24/7 channels stream at 560p, which is better than some of Strong 8K's options.
Sports channels are categorized by team (NBA, NFL, MLB), just like Strong 8K.
What I Dislike About Eagle 4K:
Not enough 24/7 channels.
Hard to find 24/7 channels since they aren’t categorized in one place.
Most US entertainment channels stream at 720p.
Lacks the depth of sports content compared to Strong 8K.
Occasional buffering—rare, but noticeable.
What I Like About Strong 8K:
Massive selection of channels, especially in the US market.
Tons of 24/7 channels for movies and TV shows.
Minimal buffering (seriously impressive).
Every sports channel you could ask for, including PPV.
Better quality—US entertainment channels are 80% 720p, 20% 1080p.
Plenty of US news channels.
Found a great reseller on Z2U.
What I Dislike About Strong 8K:
More expensive than other IPTV platforms.
Some users have reported multiview issues on TiviMate (haven’t tested myself).
Lots of knockoff services that try to copy Strong 8K (e.g., Layer Seven).
Final Verdict:
If you’re deciding between the two, Strong 8K is the better overall option, especially for sports and 24/7 content. Eagle 4K is decent, but it falls short in content variety and organization.
