Hungry Shark Progress Reset

I know I don't play hungry shark anymore but damn, losing a lot of progress isn't it for me, whilst I was trying to change my play games email, my progress sudenly reset when I switched back to the email I used to save my progress. Are there any ways to get this back? I'm also 100% sure I saved my progress before temporarily changing my email.
