Finished the book and the film

This book is phenomenal. Couldn’t put it down and have never read a book faster I think(!)

1. I watched the film piece by piece as I was reading the book at the same time and honestly loved the film! I don’t mind slight changes that haven’t damaged the plot. The peacemaker part felt a bit rushed for just one movie I think they did a good job

2. The book made me wanna know about Snow’s president formation and how much he influenced the games. And I really didn’t expect Coriolanus’ father to be (co)creater of the hunger games. Birds of a feather, truly

3. I find it fascinating and sort of sneering how district 12 is connected to Coriolanus on many levels. His father, Lucy Gray, Katniss. I wonder how much he hates it

4. Tigris saying Coriolanus looked like his father and not calling him Coryo plus his facial expression at her words is chefs kiss. Maybe it was the beginning of the end of their good relationship?

5. RIP Sejanus Plinth, he was truly born in the wrong generation and would’ve been the first to join the revolution

6. Reaper deserved better💔

And the last but not least, really loved the last scene with Highbottom, Peter Dinklage did a great job!
