Rhaenyra can never win. The system is rigged against her. If she conforms to the system (i.e., having children with Corlys or raping Laenor), she will be villainized. If she fights the system (i.e., having children with someone she loves or not having children at all), she will still be villainized

From a storytelling perspective, GRRM doomed her from the beginning. And that's why she will always have a special place in the deepest part of my heart
