Was I placed on a PIP?

I just had my first performance review 6 months into my new role. I had been struggling to get up to speed in my role, some due to the complexity of the business, others due to unacceptable careless mistakes and repeat errors in recurring deliverables.

And the performance review was critical but fair and constructive and in the end my manager pulled a word doc listing a few key goals he needs me to show improvement in within the near-term. There was no HR present but is this considered being on a PIP? My manager reiterated I’ve shown improvement but needs me to show improvement in key areas quickly.
