NDA required after putting 2 weeks in?

I am currently a manager at a large non public company and I may get an appealing offer at a different company next week that I would take if the numbers work out. In my current role, I am involved in a lot of highly sensitive work - such as work related to subsidiaries being sold, knowledge of legal settlements, strategy, etc. most of which only a few finance folks and executives would know about.

I am wondering if my current employer will insist on a NDA once I give them a 2 weeks notice and if that’s common?

Also wondering what I should ask for in return if so. They just offered a 12 week pay for VSO that just ended. Wondering if there is an opportunity to try to get it again even though I missed the deadline.
