Is it possible to have endo with low/medium flow?

Hi! I've learn about endo while searching on the Internet about possible causes of intense pain during menstruation. I think that many of the symptoms listed really apply to my case, except for the one about having a really heavy period, which seems to be a pretty common symptom.

So I would like to ask you guys if any of you who are diagnosed with endo also have a low or medium period when it comes to flow. Or if you know if not having a heavy flow automatically rules out endo.

I'm planning on going to the gyno (I've never been before), but I'm pretty scared about what they're gonna tell me. I'm also a little bit worried that they're just gonna prescribe me birth control when I tell them about my pain. Some of my friends have had that experience, and I don't think my case will be different. But, well. I just wanted to ask you this doubt before going to the gyno.

Edit: While talking to my mother about this the other day, she told me that she has endo. She never told me about it before. And I've read that there can be a genetic factor. So idk. The thing is: my mom does have a really heavy period. Like immensely heavy. While I don't. But I do have more painful periods. Like, vomiting and hyperventilating level of painful. So I'm pretty confused.
