So tired of reading how the people can't do anything because the people in power are too powerful
This is 100000% an American talking point. There's proof outside of US (and historically within US as well but we'll ignore that) that the people do have a major say. It happened countless of times. Just recently Korea, Germany, Serbia, Georgia, etc.
You ask where's CIA, Pentagon, FBI, dems, etc. and I do that as well. But I also ask, what are the leftists doing? Consuming YouTube videos and patting each other on the back? Trusting the guard rails still? It's the living embodiment of the Destiny "yeah it's bad, what do you want me to do" meme. Only with serious implications.
People need to realize that the powers that could help the people, maybe want to see if the people actually care? If nobody does anything why the fuck would the army start a coup on it's own? It makes no sense. They could be easily charged and executed for treason. Howeverrrrrr, if the people are in the streets in millions and protesting across the country, then they might. Because the power is always in the people. And the army usually favors the people over some fucking rich bums and politicians.
Nobody says to pick up your rifle and take it to the streets. But you can pick up a backpack and take it to the streets and stay there Ukraine 2014 style. If you really care about not ending up a totalitarian shitshow, then there's no other choice. Otherwise the army will stay back and the CIA will be like why the fuck would we take out anyone if these shitheads stay on reddit 24/7?!
Call me crazy but that 30% that apparently doesn't like this lacks the actual conviction to do anything. If 5% of those people would be in the streets as we speak, 24/7, that would be massive. I'm not sure people understand. I think the American people has been so spoiled that they don't quite understand what actually needs to happen.
