Why is Lynette so entitled

I'm rewatching DH again and one thing that has always annoyed me is just how entitled Lynette can be. I just watched the part when she made Bree watch her kids even though she clearly didn't want to and then kind of humiliated her in front of everyone for spanking them. Does anyone else think that's kind of entitled. Bree was doing her a favour and when she saw that it made Lynette uncomfortable she immediately apologised but Lynette made it into this huge thing. And she also did the same thing the next season when Bree passed out and lost the kids. Don't get me wrong she was definitely in the wrong here but I kind of feel like Lynette pressured her into watching them (when again Bree expressed that she didn't want to) and when something bad happens she starts the blame game. And not to mention the way she forced herself into Mrs McCluskey's basement during the tornado and after Karen did her a favour by letting them stay she threw out Ida's cat. I feel like in some situations she's so entitled and selfish - she pressures people into doing stuff for her and makes them feel guilty for not doing it but then plays the victim when it inevitably goes wrong. Ps even though I'm bashing her a lot in this post I still really like Lynette but this just bothers me about her.
