How can I repair this floor?

Recently removed a baby gate after my dog was put to sleep and realised the gate has damaged the engineered oak floor underneath leaving this mark. Is it a case of just patching with some similar stain? How would I match it up? And would it be darker if I went over the existing dark too? Sorry for all the questions, I have no idea what I’m doing here.
