My advice
Just some advice to some of the more passionate pro-union members who are active in this sub.
I have seen many posts of frustration from some regarding a lack of community support for the workers of Canada Post.
If you want to win people over you need to try the carrot more. You are not going to shock someone to your side by calling them boot lickers, chattel, class traitors etc. stop that
People do not like being boxed into groups. Stop labeling people working-class, ruiling-class, executive-class etc, it is off putting
Stop trivializing the financial stress the strike has placed on portions of the general public. It makes you look heartless
Stop down voting every post or reply that offers a different perspective than your own. You are creating a very visible echo chamber and I can assure it is not looking like a welcoming place
Those are just a few of my concerns. This sub, for better or worse, is seen as the face of the common postal worker. Unfortunately, this face is starting to look ugly
I hope some you see this post for what it is. I am trying to explain that to grow support you need to win people over. This isn't easy when you try to shame and ridicule those who visit here. If you keep pushing ppl away your support base will shrink. People get fed up and support the other side just because it isn't you.
Just something I wanted to get off my chest after seeing so much toxic behavior and half-truths being thrown around
