Having a really hard time driving pocket hole screws into the pocket holes. They go fine with manual driver. But I have 32 to do and I prefer not to drive them manually.

2x4 White wood from HD. Just bought the jig but was able drill the holes very easily thanks to my brand new M12 fuel drill. I love that baby!

However when I’m driving screws into the holes I’m having a challenge. They go in fine with a manual screw driver but if I use impact driver or drill the workpiece doesn’t stay down. The screw goes into first piece but doesn’t go into the piece I’m attaching it to.

I’m sure I’m missing something. I see a lot of pocket holes in my future and I need to learn to drive them easily. Help?!
