I love you Bannerlord SO MUCH but….
First of all, anyone who dislikes bannerlord probably didn’t play the original mount and blade before warband, or recognize that it was originally built by two people. A man and a woman.
Now that’s out of the way-
I want to complain that for a while now I’ve had this itch while playing bannerlord. I’ve felt like something was missing. I’m not a huge fan of the apparel in this game. Everyone is always posting their drip, but honestly most of it looks pretty bad. I realized this was because of two reasons.
1-Everyone during this time period wore dress like apparels. Unlike Skyrim, for example, you get access to very different and unique clothing sets such as skin tight assassins gear. In bannerlord most clothing, though realistic, covers the body past the waste and sometimes past the knees.
2- there is a lack of metal armor. Again, realistic I will admit. I noticed I liked some of the armor in warband better. Makes sense because warband takes place AFTER bannerlord when there will be increased technology and more soldier types relied on heavy metal plated armor that we medieval fans love so much.
Kingdom come deliverance II is something I am unfamiliar with but in the bits that I’ve seen it looks absolutely beautiful and totally scratches that itch I’ve had playing bannerlord now. (I don’t have mods)
