UCLA reported GPA oddity
For UC schools, you're only allowed 8 bonus points from Honors/AP for calculation of Sophomore and Junior GPA. Straight A's should give you 28x4+8=120 points, divided by 28 courses gives you a max GPA of 4.29 which is the max range reported at UC Berkeley and others.
However UCLA is currently reporting a top score of 4.30 and according to an older Reddit post, it was 4.31 the year before. How can a student get a UC 4.31 gpa?
