Issues after Firmware Update to Version 3.1.4

Dear Reddit,

I purchased the Anycubic Kobra 2 Pro 3D printer in June as a Christmas gift for my son. The printer initially worked flawlessly, including the automatic bed leveling.

However, on the second day, I updated the firmware from version 3.1.3 to 3.1.4. The installation process encountered issues: it took an unusually long time, froze at around 80%, and eventually crashed. Despite this, both the printer and the app displayed a successful installation message.

Following the update, I experienced the following problems:

  1. The Z-offset was no longer accurate, and the nozzle scratched the print bed.

  2. Multiple attempts at automatic recalibration failed to yield correct results.

  3. Even after manually adjusting the Z-offset, it remains inconsistent. The value changes after each print, sometimes by up to 1 mm, and is not being saved.

I have taken the following steps to identify and resolve the issue:

Cleaned the sensors for automatic leveling.

Checked the print bed, axes, and all mechanical components for stability and alignment.

Reset the printer to factory settings.

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue. I suspect the current firmware version may have a bug.

Therefore, I would like to ask:

  1. Is there a way to downgrade to a previous firmware version?

  2. Are you already working on an update to address these issues?

  3. If no solution is possible, would I need to return the printer for repair or replacement?

I opened a Ticket With the Support With the very Same Text, but i am waiting for a answer, maybe you can Help me sooner or you have the Same Problem and want to be updatet!
