AMEX Travel Flight search, price always changes at booking.

New AMEX platinum user. Trying to schedule a flight for December going abroad and EVERYTIME I continue to book i get a message saying the fare is no longer available and need to proceed with a higher fare.

Is this the norm? Never had anything like that happening in Chase Saphire. Tips n tricks appreciated.
