DTS adjustment and changing housing

Currently on a long TDY and found a place under the normal rate to stay in though it's a bit cramped (though miles above the base hotel). I was able to get a non-A slip after the fact and found a unit in the same complex that's just under the non-A rate. Is it going to raise a red flag and not get approved if I switch to the new place and adjust the lodging cost?
