Should I buy ARK on Steam?

I'm not intrested in the new game, but rather the first one and the DLCs. I have played it on Xbox One and it was fun, but I usually quit after 5-10h, however I now have a good computer and am considering buying the game again.

Before you all say that it's a waste of money if I just quit after 10h, hear me out! I have played Terraria, but couldn't even play to beat boss 1, however on pc I got stuck to it much more easier (600h), so my thought process is that perhaps I will get stuck to ASE more easily if I play on my pc.

Side Note: Yes I did also get all DLCs with ASE on Xbox years ago and I realize it was now kinda waste of money since I never played DLCs and I now consider rebuying it all. 😢
