What degree is best for these positions?

I’m in high school, and I originally wanted to be an engineer in the Air Force. However, I’m starting to reconsider because I tend to give up when I get hard math problems, but I also have been interested in some other career fields. These being aircraft maintenance officer, munitions and missile weapons officer, and nuclear and missile operations officer. I know no degree gives you a guaranteed position but these roles seem pretty technical so I was wondering if I should stick with engineering to be more competitive with these jobs or switch to an easier degree if it doesn’t really matter, thanks.
