Dolby Atmos 3D Awareness

Hi guys, I just wanted to share my experience with Dolby Atmos.

I have a SteelSeries Arctic 7 wireless headset. Prior to this I tried Sonar software to create a more immersive racing experience but the results were flat. Even though I have 7.1 DTS built in, I couldn’t really hear the detail of the cars around me.

Today I tried Atmos and it was amazing. I could hear (and feel) the opponents around me. I didn’t have to be 100% reliant on sight while passing because I could hear/feel when I’ve passed someone.

It comes with a trial so please give it a try and let me know how it goes. What settings you’re using and how immersive it is. After enabling I went in game and set my car sounds (all of them) to 70% and opponents to 100%. This provided me with best experience but I’m going to do more testing to determine which is best.
